Work Incentives Seminar Event

Houston Center for Independent Living is hosting a Work Incentives Seminar Event – WISE (pdf) in Houston on October 14, 2009. It will be held at the Metropolitan Multi-Service Center at 1475 W. Gray from 9-11 AM. The purpose of this event is provide information to Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries about exploring their work options.

Many receiving Social Security benefits are interested in returning to or going to work for the first time but are not sure about how to get started. The WISE Event provides answers. In addition, we will have Employment Networks available who will explain how their services make going to work easier for them. Houston Center for Independent Living is committed to providing assistance to our beneficiaries as they become self-sufficient.
