We in the Deaf CERT team needs to have CERT certification ASAP and the Houston Community College’s policy that ANY classes MUST have at least 30 student and if it’s doesn’t meet that goal, they will close the class and We can NOT go on with our Deaf CERT team training to the Deaf community. We are planning to attend the CERT training at HCC Central campus (Old San Jac) in midtown Houston starting Sept 23rd every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
Marni Rosen, HCC’s CERT Coordinator, said that there are 11 students registered for that class as today (Sept 10th). Yes, we need at least 19!! There will be interpreters. If you are interested, please contact Marni Rosen at HCCS at this contact info below.
