The October monthly educational and fellowship meeting of P.I.P. (Positive Interaction Program) for the Deaf community of Houston will be held on Tuesday, October 1st. P.I.P. is an informal meeting between the Houston Police Department and the Deaf community to share educational learning and information. It is also a outlet for the Deaf to share their concern about any issue that might have happen between a Deaf person and an officer. Are you concern about crime and gang activities in your neighborhood? If so, come to the meeting and learn how it is possible for all of us to watch out for each other and help the police control all crime.
Certified interpreters and a CART operator will be on hand. There will be refreshments served and door prizes drawn. Most of all, you will have a great time fellowshiping with other members of the Deaf community.
