Deaf Employment and Advocacy Firm (D.E.A.F) has immediate openings for a Job Coach to assist Deaf individuals in learning the expectations and duties of their job. *** MUST BE SIGN LANGUAGE PROFICIENT!
This position is located in Houston, TX and surrounding areas. Interviews will be conducted on August 2nd. See the attached fliers for more information.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, positive, self-directed, patient and caring! Assisting Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals to become acquainted with and master their job tasks, this position is extremely rewarding. Specifically, you will teach skills, reinforce skills and develop or set up accommodations and/or compensatory techniques to increase the client’s independence and ability to meet the employer’s expectations. Our company is growing rapidly, and, for the right person, this is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor and grow with us.

Work hours are mainly Monday-Friday, but there may be an occasional need to work a few hours on a Saturday. Schedules are somewhat flexible. This position may vary between part-time or full-time.
