There are many issues of violations of the rights of the deaf people still happening even after ADA was passed into law. The Houston deaf community will have a rally to protest these violations against the deaf on Thursday October 20th. This rally will take place at the Houston city hall located at 901 Bagby street in downtown Houston. Starting at 10 am we will take over the corner intersections and bring our message to the general public. There is a serious need for as many deaf to attend this rally because the larger the number of people that are there we will draw much more attention to the violations of our rights. If you need more information about the rally contact Darla Conner at 713-491-2381 vp or 713-974-4621voice/tty. At all possible, come to the rally and add your hands to those fighting for your rights.
