Learn to communicate in another visual and tactile language – the language of Equus! Horsemanship and riding is an art and a source of joy when you understand your 4-legged partner.
Your instructor, Robin McGee, has 40 years of experience with horses and teaching riding, and she has about 6 years of experience in the Deaf community, including conversational ASL skills. Robin shared horse-keeping chores and riding time with a Deaf horse owner for 3 years, so learned specific horse signs.
Classes are small to allow individual attention. Lessons are custom-designed to be safe, fun, and advance your skills and confidence. Whether you’ve never seen a horse in person or you’re an experienced rider, whether you’re a child or adult, you’ll learn and have FUN in the open spaces.
Stables are conveniently located near Beltway 8 and S. Wayside Drive in Houston. Facilities include small and large riding arenas, barrel racing barrels, pastures to ride in and cattle to work.
