Healthcare Survey for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing

Hello! My name is Colleen Manning and I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and Doctoral student at UTHealth’s Cizik School of Nursing. I am a Coda (child of Deaf adults) and work in healthcare. Ever since I was a little girl, I have seen how hard it is for Deaf and Hard-of-hearing patients (like my parents) to get good and safe medical care. I am using this survey to learn more about what healthcare issues matter to DHH patients. Your participation will help me start an improvement project. The project will focus on improving a healthcare issue within the Houston Deaf community. You can share this survey with other DHH people you know but please only complete the survey one time per person. This survey is anonymous (I am not collecting any of your personal information) and only for people who identify as Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing who communicate in sign language. Thank you so much for your help and time!
