HBCD 2nd Annual Jr. Angler Tournament

On behalf of the Houston Bass Club of the Deaf, Inc. Bass Anglers, we will once again be hosting the 2nd Annual Junior Anglers Tournament which will take place at Mary Jo Peckham Park in Katy, Texas. The date of this event will be September 20, 2014 from 9 am to 4 pm.

This is an annual event sponsored by many of our valuable contributors. The event is FREE to all participants. The purpose of this event is to promote an opportunity to all deaf/Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind, Deaf Autism, Child of Deaf Adults, Child of Interpreters, and kids that involves in the deaf communities area where the focus is on them to enjoy fun day of fishing. It is important to educate the knowledge of how to fish, hook and reel. The skills can be taught by their parents, guardians or being trained by our own HBCD Bass Anglers who are the expert in fishing that day. It is a “tournament” where they can catch a lot of fish regardless of the size and have it weigh in and be awarded prizes.
