I have an 8 month old Argentine Dogo mix i’m having to get rid of. She is super sweet and loves to play but our one bedroom apartment is not enough for her. She really needs to be somewhere with a yard. She loves to run! She is deaf but it doesn’t seem to phase her much. She does not get spooked and is not skittish because of it. continue »

The Speaker: Brian Determan, an ASL – native deaf individual, serves as a Deafness Resource Specialist with Communication Axess Ability Group for Houston and surrounding counties. The Deafness Resource program is funded by TX DARS (Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services) – Office for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services. Brian works with agencies and service providers regarding their access obligations under the Americans and with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act. His training will empower deaf or hard of hearing individuals with knowledge of their civil rights and how to self-advocate. continue »
