The Houston Deaf community and ASL students will enjoy socializing at Main Event on Friday March 21st from 5pm till closing, 2am.
Previous socials at Main Event have has large attendance. Main Event has food and drinks to purchase and also has great games of bowling, pool, shuffleboard, etc. You will be able to visit and sign with old friends and make new friends. It is important to remind everyone that all ASL socials are “voice off.”

Leyel Hudson, a certified interpreter, will show us how to interpret songs commonly sung in church services. The fee for the class is $35, accepting both cash and checks. Talking Hands, the American Sign Language Organization at Stephen F. Austin, is hosting its Spring deaf culture workshop on March 1st from 11am-4pm.
