An Off-Broadway success, this very funny yet very touching play focuses on the lives of four developmentally disabled men living in a communal residence under the watchful eye of a sincere but increasingly despairing, social worker.

Filled with humor, the play, written by Tom Griffin, is marked by compassion and understanding as it peers into the work of its protagonists. We are
reminded that the disabled, like the rest of us, want only to love and laugh and find some real meaning and purpose in life.

Cromania! has been postponed. We are tentatively looking at March 12th, but will send out a notice when the date is firm. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for understanding!

Nationally renowned Deaf theatre professional and comedian Crom Saunders will bring his hilarious Cromania! show to the LSC-Montgomery stage. Along with sponsorship from the Montgomery County and Greater Houston local professional interpreter organizations, LSC-Montgomery will host this performance for students, staff, and community members of all ages.

The show will start at 7:00 pm on February 27, 2010. Doors will open at 6:15 pm.

Woodhaven Baptist Deaf Church presents Christmas Drama 2009 “Deafville, USA II.” A continuation from last year’s play, Deafville is a small town somewhere in America. It’s a small Deaf town where people gather and share in their struggles and blessings in everyday life. The story of this year’s play is inspired by a real family and actual events. Like every other family, members of this particular family went through a dark period in their lives. Come see how they weathered the storm and share in the experience.

Admission is FREE and we accept donations. There will be voice interpreters for the hearing.

Dionysus Theatre presents Mark Medoff’s “Children of a Lesser God”. Opening up their 12th season, Dionysus Theatre brings this beautiful play to fruition with an inclusive cast. Casting actors who are deaf, hearing impaired and of hearing, this show explores the relationship of James Leed and Sarah Norman. James Leed, a teacher at the school for the deaf falls in love with Sarah, a woman who is profoundly deaf. Through the ups and downs of learning to communicate, James realizes he can’t change a person, until he changes his heart.

Starts at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday and Saturdays at 7:30p.m.
