The Show of Hands is an ASL student club of the Lone Start College system. They will be sponsoring an ASL social on Friday June 14th, starting time 6:30pm till 10pm. The social will be held at Spring Creek B-B-Q located at 4220 F.M.1960 West, Houston, Tx. 77066. We want to thank the 35+ people who attended the last social and would love to see ya’ll again. Sagemont Church Deaf Social 1/1/2013

Greater Harris County 9-1-1 Emergency (GHC9-1-1) has implemented a new 9-1-1 emergency texting service for residents who are deaf, hard-of-hearing or speech impaired. The service is available ONLY in Harris and Fort Bend Counties. The new texting service allows a resident to text a special short code 442911 to connect with a 9-1-1 call center within Harris and Fort Bend Counties.
