Your boss supposedly knows how to sign, your co-workers are are either deaf or know how to sign, and your students are deaf... need I go on? Surely, there's no problem in communication in this job! Level of education required for this job also varies. For those seeking just the minimum, a certificate is enough. if you want to move on to better pay or teach higher levels (college), a Master's is required. Best of all - there are ALWAYS children in need of education. In bad economic times like we're facing right now, you can be sure that you won't be laid off as a teacher.
