I am deaf/HoH and looking to make some friends who know ASL. I need to learn since I am struggling communicating with the world at this time. My friends (or what they call themselves anyway) have become very distant because it is very awkward to hang out with hearing people and not be able to be a part of the conversation. I am planning on being at the coffee chat on 6/17/11 at the 1960 location. If you see me, please do say “Hi”, i am 25yrs old, short brown hair, and very petite. I hope I can get to know many of you!

hi my name is ana and well i just pass by this web site because i like to learn more about deaf community i think is intersting and that can learn a lot from that i have a child that has speech problems and we’re using sign language to help her so that whay i have to share with ya’ll thanks
