Please join the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities and the City of Houston Department of Neighborhoods for the annual Disability Awareness Month Kickoff Event.

Disability Awareness Month salutes the achievements of people with disabilities and educates about the value of diversity inclusion. The theme for the 2016 Disability Awareness Month Kickoff Event is “Awareness and Advocacy.”

    My daughter 31/deaf from birth…
    Was struck and injured byva vehicle here in Houston. Crystal substained severe injuries such as a neck fracture,pelvic fracture, both legs were broken,and traumatic brain injury… She has nails in her legs. She is not walking .Yet. I would like her to have counseling she does not remember anything..But when she does I want her to be somewhat prepare. Thanks if you have numbers etc it would be helpful .. Tina/Crystal Williams
