I graduated highschool last year took a year off to join the military, while there a battle buddy got rejected for being hard of hearing. This hurt me. I unfortunately got discharged, but when I returned My siters were falling in love with a tv show; Switched at Birth and so was I. So now I am inspired in becoming a deaf tecaher I found this website and would like to be deaf teacher in Houston. But where do I begin? Just go to any Community College do my basics and take ASL? I would like to know. If anoyone can taketheir type to reply tha’d be great.Thank you and God Bless.

The P.I.P. (Positive Interaction Program) meeting between the Houston Police Department and the Deaf Community will be held in the fellowship hall of Woodhaven Deaf Baptist Church on April 3rd beginning at 7:15 pm. There will be an education program and the police officers will try to solve any issue you have about the law.
Refreshments will be served and a door prize will be drawn.
